Christie M. Roberts, PE

Professional Engineer, Architectural Designer, Project Manager

I am an engineer by education, but the thing I enjoy doing the most in my job is creating ‘beautiful’ places.  ‘Beautiful’ in the sense of an oven roasted turkey- preparation, attention to detail, and slow cooking creating a dish that not only is good for dinner, but for the entire next week too.

I keep my love of bicycles close to my desk.  A picture of both my mountain bike and my cyclo-cross bike provide motivation when its lacking.  Since biking isn’t that great in Wyoming in the winter, I spend time skiing instead.  Bandit, my blue heeler, prefers biking season (she’s a fast runner!) while Moki, my shepherd mix, loves winter!  Any season, I have great partners in the outdoors.

I met my husband rock climbing, of all things, and we still enjoy spending time on sandstone and granite.  We take a trip every Thanksgiving to a warm climbing area- the vacation comes at the perfect time.  We get to relax after our busy seasons and get revved up for the rest of the holidays.  And there’s nothing as good as a turkey dinner while camping!
